Pages
The Pages phase in the Page Builder Editor is dedicated to composing the actual subpages that your website will have later (e.g., Home, About Us, Contact).
How it Works
At its core, the Pages Editor works exactly as intuitively as the Grid Sections Editor.
However, instead of dragging individual small components (Text, Image, Button) into a layout, you now use the content editor to drag entire, pre-made Grid Sections onto the page:
- Select Sections: In the sidebar, you will find all your created Grid Sections (e.g., Hero Area, Features, Footer).
- Drag onto the Page: Place the sections below each other using Drag & Drop on the main workspace.
- Change Order: Move the sections intuitively up or down to realize the content flow of your page (as worked out in the Planning).
The Advantage of Sections on Pages
Since the Grid Sections are already independent "mini-layouts" that you have optimized for responsive design (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile), assembling the finished page is massively accelerated:
- Changes to a Grid Section automatically apply to all pages that use this section.
- Create a "Standard Footer" as a Grid Section once and integrate it with a simple drop at the end of every page you create!
Both when creating Pages and Grid Sections, our local Draft system protects you from unintentionally overwriting live pages. Simply read the Layouts Overview for more information.
