Layout Editor
Welcome to the Layout headquarters of the CODEFLUSS Page Builder. Here you structure, build, and compose the actual appearance of your website with an incomparable visual drag-and-drop experience.
Overview of Layout Tools
The builder is divided into two essential areas to guarantee you maximum flexibility and reusability:
- Grid Sections: Design elementary, independent blocks (such as Hero sections, feature lists, testimonials) based on our responsive Grid System.
- Pages: Combine these blocks via drag-and-drop to form complete subpages.
Drafts vs. Save – How the System Saves
In CODEFLUSS, we place enormous value on you being able to be carefree and creative without fear of accidentally irreparably damaging the live website or being overwritten by colleagues. The fundamental principle here is the local Draft system:
What happens during Drag & Drop
When you move, resize, or position an element in the Grid Sections or Pages editors, the Draft System kicks in. This change is saved fully automatically and instantly locally and to an isolated database table as a raw draft via Zero Sync.
For Your Eyes Only
An essential feature of this system is: Drafts can only be seen by the user who is currently creating them. If you change the position of a button, you can design it in peace, refresh the screen, or close the browser – the draft is not lost. Other team members accessing the same workspace will not see this change until you publish it.
It Gets Serious Only with "Save"
Only when you are one hundred percent satisfied with your design do you click the "Save" button.
- Only at this moment is your personal draft committed and made persistent and visible for the entire workgroup.
- Your Grid Section or Page is now the official version that everyone else will see and that can later be published.
You also always have the option to discard all uncommitted drafts that deviate from the original version and return to the last saved state using "Reset".
